After we've securely downloaded your dataset our Research Centre will ensure that every address is:

• Cleansed - using both our latest technologies alongside VOA and SAA data feeds to quickly determine any sites which may have a use class which is not business rated, we can also identify those properties where a change of use class has been proposed so we can track and update accordingly.
• Traced - we will combine our search technologies including what3words, UPRN and our live-time DataReal database with manual research via our bespoke Research Centre to ensure every address is updated to include correct address and current occupier or if the property is vacant we monitor its ongoing status.
• Verified - our Research Team will call and speak directly with the occupier, landlord or marketing agent to ensure the details we have established are correct and we can be certain of occupancy status.

This service is widely used by our clients who have large customer bases and over time faced the challenge of understanding if properties are vacant or occupied. The benefits are very significant in terms of both identifying non billed revenues and reducing bad debt as a result of billing a previous or unnamed occupier.

Because we speak to the occupier, landlord or marketing agent a natural bolt on to our core customer and address cleanse service is to obtain an up to date meter read we can also advise on the benefits of e-billing or provide other communications.

We ensure eligible properties which are consuming services but are not registered within the market dataset are correctly identified, occupier contacts recorded and verified by one of our team speaking directly with the occupier or landlord. This might typically include new developments, properties which have been subdivided or developed and or change of use class.

Our bespoke property tracking service, some unoccupied sites have high value or strategic importance our Research Centre will track the ongoing status of each property and alert you to any changes in occupancy status as soon as they happen.
